Since 2010 I’ve been using a 13 inch Macbook Air and it has been by far the best laptop I’ve ever used, until now. The 2013 model of the 13″ Macbook Air is almost the exact same form factor I love with an even faster processor and incredible battery life.
Battery Life is the Killer Feature
Wow, I am stunned, I ordered the i7 model so I get a few less hours than the advertised “12 hours” of battery life but it usually lasts around 8 or 9. I didn’t think this would affect my usage but I must say this has been the best feature. I’ve basically abandoned my desktop at this point, my 2010 Macbook air was getting about 3 hours of battery life so I’d usually have to stop using it half way through the day.
Performance
On my 2010 Core 2 Duo Macbook Air I never had any issues running my favorite programs such as, Photoshop CS6, Coda, Adobe Lightroom, etc. So it wasn’t to my surprise when the 2013 model could handle all of my programs. I also upgraded the hard drive to 256gb which I recommend doing. In general everything is as snappy and responsive as ever.

I wouldn’t recommend the 11 inch model due to it’s size but if you’re currently in the laptop market I highly recommend any of the 2013 Macbook Air 13 inch models.
